eVent® PTFE Waterproof & Breathable Fabric
eVent® is mico-porous waterproof membrane which is Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) basis waterproof film. There are billions of micro-porous per square inch on the membrane. Waterproof function is basis on direct venting system. The venting process is that water molecule is bigger than micro-porous, while moisture molecule is smaller than micro-porous, so moisture can vent instantly outside of fabric and resist water getting inside. eVent® is high performance waterproof materials because of its high water vapor and air permeability. It helps users to keep dry and feel comfortable when wearing on it.
Tiong Liong has professional lamination technique and production line in Taiwan and Vietnam. We use eco-friendly lamination process to vary eVent® waterproof packages with different functionality; for example, combining lining and upper fabric, foam and insulation, to fulfill variety need of footwear market.
Besides, Ting Liong has professional waterproof specialist team to solve problems for customers when using waterproof materials. We have extensive experiences to assist customers with their production process in booty making, setting conditions of seam taping and waterproof testing. All waterproof sample shoes with eVent® materials should pass footwear hydrostatic test and flex test in order to get approval to use eVent® label and badge. It is official method to check that production process is qualified for using eVent® before shoes production.
